Diana Kazakevič joins Customer Advisory Board of Nord Pool
Ms Diana Kazakevič, Chairwoman of the Board at Geton Energy Sp. z o. o., has become a member of the Customer Advisory Board of Nord Pool, one of Europe’s largest power markets.
“The work in this Board provides an opportunity to contribute to the improvement of the market along with the representatives of the most important power companies of Northern Europe. At the same time, it is a platform for exchanging knowledge and insights with the sector colleagues from other markets. Presently, when Geton Energy Sp. z o. o. is carrying out an active development in Poland, such experience is highly valuable," says Ms Diana Kazakevič.
Ms Diana Kazakevič has replaced Mr Vidmantas Salietis, a member of the Board of Lietuvos energija, who had held this position at Nord Pool.
The Nord Pool Customer Advisory Board is one of the channels for exchanging customer relationships on the market. Its structure reflects the geography of the market activities and the range of the organisations the market serves. The Advisory Board consists of 16 members representing power companies and other organisations of the sector.
Nord Pool is one of Europe’s largest power markets, founded in 2002 in the region of Northern Europe. Nord Pool is the operator of the power market in 15 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden. 380 companies from 20 countries carry out sales on the market. In 2017, Nord Pool sold a total of 512 terawatt hours of power.
